Hi my name is John Jonas from Undercover Profits and today I'm going to talk about how you can find profitable affiliate programs to promote with google adwords.

This has been the biggest stumbling block that I have found when people are trying to get started doing this. They've spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on educational material but they're still not profitable because they don't know what to promote.

Well, today I'm going to show you how you can see what other people are successfully promoting so that you know ahead of time what affiliate programs are going to be profitable for you.

There's a theory that has been talked about by John Reese and Aaron wall and a couple of other people that says that if an ad shows up on google adwords consistantly over a long period of time, that the advertiser is very likely making money from that ad. If they weren't making money, they would take their ad down.

Well as an affiliate, this is great news for me because it means that I can look at the ads on google and see who else is making money so that I know what products to promote.

If they're making money with it, I can too!

Here's how you do it.







The first step is to search google for the keyword you want to watch.

I have searched for panic attack which is a keyword that I have already researched.







The second step is to record the ads that show up in a spreadsheet.

Here I have recorded the ads and that they have shown up one time because I have searched them once.

The third step is to figure out which ads are affiliate ads. This is the really difficult part and there are two ways to doing this. Number one, you can just start clicking on the ads and see if you recognize any of them as affiliate ads. Not exactly scientific, but sometimes its going to work for you.







The other way is to look at the Html behind this page. You can do that by right-clicking and selecting "View Source" which is going to bring you a page of HTML like this. Now don't zone out on me just because I'm looking at HTML here, I'm just going to show you that this works.

If you scroll over and look at the ads, sometimes we are going to find an ad that looks like this, with a destination url is "something.hop.clickbank.net" which is for this ad right here where the title is "no more panic attacks" which you can see is this ad right here on the page. This tells us that this ad is an affiliate ad.

Now, in order to be able to do this correctly, you really need to be able to identify not only clickbank urls but you need to be able to identify commission junction, and linkshare, and really all of the affiliate networks' links, but once you can do that you can identify which of the ads are affiliate ads and then record them in the spreadsheet.

After recording them in the spreadsheet, the last step is to do this over a period of time, for example 30 days. You come back to google every day and record which ads have shown up.







Now, I've done this for 15 days for you, and here are my results. You can see that the ad that was an affiliate ad the first day has shown up 15 times out of the 15 days that I've monitored it, which means that it is showing up every time I search panic attack. This is very likely a profitable affiliate program, but to be sure you probably need to watch it for 30 days.

Now at this point, 15 days into this, I'm bored out of my head with recording these ads. And I've also learned that after doing this a whole bunch, you're not going to find really profitable affiliate programs by just monitoring a few keywords. You really need to monitor a few hundred keywords. I have monitored thousands of keywords and have found dozens and dozens of profitable affiliate programs, but the reality is that there just isn't enough time in a day to manually monitor hundreds or thousands of keywords.







So, in the next video I'm going to show you how you can have a report like this generated for you with a 100% automated system. It will tell you how many times an ad has shown up out of how many times that keyword was monitored. It also identifies for you automatically which ads are affiliate ads like this one which is the one that we were looking at, compared to this one which isn't an affiliate ad. You can also genereate this report for any keyword that you want without having to do any manual work with this system.
